毕磊2009年于中国科学技术大学获材料学博士学位,同年赴日本国家材料研究所进行博士后研究工作,合作导师为Enrico Traversa教授(欧洲科学院院士、世界陶瓷科学院院士、电化学协会欧洲分会主席、美国电化学协会Fellow、欧洲陶瓷协会Fellow)。于2013年被沙特阿卜杜拉国王科技大学聘为研究科学家,从事能源转化与存储材料的研究工作。现为青岛大学教授、第三层次特聘教授、山东省优青。

毕磊博士的研究方向是能源转化与存储,主要是从事固体氧化物燃料电池/电解池、陶瓷材料等方面的研究工作。在国内外重要期刊上,如Chemical Society Reviews, Energy & Environmental Science,Advanced Materials,Advanced Functional Materials,Small,Journal of Materials Chemistry A,Journal of Power Sources等期刊上发表论文七十余篇,被SCI收录的论文共60多篇,其中一区或者二区(中科院分区)文章数为40篇。论文总引用次数超过3000次,H因子达到30,ESI高被引论文6篇,杂志封面论文3篇;作为第一作者或者通讯作者,发表的影响因子大于10的SCI论文9篇,其中有1篇SCI论文的影响因子大于40,3篇SCI论文的影响因子大于30。并担当多个国际杂志的审稿人。受邀在国际著名学会的年会(如美国材料学会MRS, 欧洲材料学会E-MRS)上作邀请报告。

担任国际杂志Materials for Renewable and Sustainable Energy(Web of Science收录期刊)的执行主编。
